UN Secretary General's special envoy discusses regional policy issues in Tashkent

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, May 3 / Trend, D. Azizov / Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General and head of Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, Jan Kubis discussed a number of international and regional policy issues with the leadership of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry on Wednesday within his visit to Tashkent, the country's Foreign Ministry said. Within the discussion of the Afghan problem, the parties stressed that Uzbekistan makes a significant contribution to Afghanistan in its socio-economic revival.
