Iranian border guards detain 700 foreigners during exercises

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 1 / Trend, T.Jafarov / Iranian border guards detained 700 foreigners illegally violating water border during large-scale exercises in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman, IRINN TV channel quotes Deputy Commander of the Iranian Border Police Ahmad Geravand as saying on Tuesday. Geravand said one ton of drug, 1.3 million liters of various fuel, 16 various weapons and more than 600 ships illegally operating vessels were detained during the exercises. Iranian border guards held five-day military exercises in Sistan-Baluchestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan and Khuzestan coasts on April 28.
