Post cyber-attack: Iranian oil ministry’s intranet, national gas company’s website still down

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 1/Trend M. Moezzi The Iranian oil ministry's intranet is still disconnected a week after the cyber-attack was made on its website. It took the ministry five days to get its portal along with four subsidiaries' portals back online again. But the National Iranian Gas Company's website is still down, as well as those of its subsidiaries. The website for the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) is up but no longer includes data on subjects like exports and consumption. After the attack occurred last week, officials said no damage was made to the ministry and the National Iranian Oil Company's information because their principal servers are separate from public ones.
