First int`l cruise ship launches service in Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) - Panama 's Jupiter Cruises firm has launched sea travel
service in Vietnam , becoming the first foreign firm to provide cruise
service for tourists in the coastal country.

Its four-star ship, Jupiter, which is 175 meters long and 22 meters wide,
offers restaurants, a health spa, karaoke rooms, a dance hall and
entertainment area. It is capable of carrying 1,200 people.
The cruise ship will take travelers to tourist sports along Vietnam 's
coastline, including Hai Phong, Da Nang , Nha Trang, HCM City , Vung
Tau, Con Dao and Phu Quoc.
Sam Lam. Chairman of the Executive Council of Jupiter Cruises Ship, said
that Jupiter wants to provide good tour service by sea at reasonable prices
to be come the first choice of every Vietnamese and Asian tourists.
Many foreign cruise companies expect to develop this luxury tourist
service in Vietnam as the country is seeing strong development of
tourism.
Vietnam has more than 3,260 km of coast with many attractive bays and
beaches and famous world heritage sites like Ha Long Bay and Nha Trang
Bay , thousands of islands and a system of major sea ports.
Vietnam has been emerging as an attractive destination to foreign
shipping firms and travelers by sea.
