Tajikistan interested in prolonging military base lease agreement with Russia

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 24 / Trend V. Zhavoronkova/ Tajikistan expressed its interest in prolonging the agreement with Russia on the lease of Ayni military base on its territory, Russia Foreign Minister Lavrov stated during his official visit to Dushanbe, RIA-Novosti reported. He said that the agreement is under consideration now. "All needed assignments will be made to intensify the consideration," Lavrov quoted Tajik President Emomali Rahmon as saying.
