Kazakhstan seeks to become UNSC nonpermanent member

Kazakhstan, Astana, April 23 / Trend D. Mukhtarov / Kazakhstan aims to be elected as a nonpermanent member of the UN Security Council for 2017-2018, the country's Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov said on Monday. "Besides, we have set ourselves the task of becoming a member of the UN Human Rights Council 2013-2015," Kazykhanov said speaking at the government hour in Majilis (lower house of parliament).
