HE Business Minister Meets Ministers Participating in UNCTAD

Doha, April 22 (QNA) - HE Minister of Business and Trade Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani held a series of meetings with ministers and key personalities taking part in UNCTAD XIII, including Kuwaiti Minister for Trade and Industry Anas Khaled Al-Saleh and Minister of Trade, Sudan, Othman Omar al-Sharif. HE the Minister of Business and Trade also met Minister for Trade and Industry, Sri Lanka, Rashad Badi Al-Din. He concluded his meetings by discussing international issues with Deputy Minister for Economy and Trade, Germany, Anne Ruth Herkes. UNCTAD XIII is being held at the Qatar National Convention Center, it is the first time the conference has been held in the Arab region. Qatar will serve as the president of UNCTAD for the next four years. (QNA)
