Australian Trade Delegation Visits Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee

Doha, April 18 (QNA) - An Australian trade delegation led by the newly appointed Australian Consul General and Senior Trade Commissioner Gerard Seeber today visited the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee where they met with Secretary General of the Committee Hassan Al Thawadi. During the talks, Gerard Seeber invited the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee to attend the Australia Arab Business Forum and Expo, due to take place between 5 and 6 June 2012 in Sydney, Australia. The event, organised by the Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce, is the premier Arab World-focused business event in the region that will join together Australian and Arab business leaders, senior government representatives and trade delegates to discuss a wide range of topics including; women in business; food security; construction; and the commercial opportunities generated by the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Today's visit by the trade delegation follows a recent meeting between Al Thawadi and the Australian Ambassador to Qatar and UAE Pablo Kang. (QNA)
