HE Prime Minister Meets Annan over Syria Situation

Doha, April 18 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani met here on Wednesday morning Kofi Annan, the UN-Arab League Joint Special Envoy to Syria . During the meeting, they reviewed the latest updates in Syria including the necessity of Syria's commitment to the six-point peace plan of the UN joint envoy and ceasing all forms of violence and killings of civilians in Syria. Both sides stressed as well the need to stop the tragic events and human rights violations in Syria in addition to securing the humanitarian access to reach those in need there. (QNA)
