HE Dr.Saleh Al Sada Meets Chinese Officials

Beijing, April 12 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohamed Bin Saleh Al Sada, who is now on an official visit to China, on Thursday held a series of meetings with senior officials at the Chinese national oil and development corporations. Dr. Mohamed Bin Saleh Al Sada who is also Managing Director and Board Chairman of Qatar Petroleum (QP) met earlier Thursday morning with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) general manager Jiang Jiemin and Chairman of the China Petrochemical Corporation (SINOPEC) Fu Yu Cheng. Talks during these meetings dealt with means of enhancing ties of cooperation in energy and industry sectors between QP and the chinese concerned corporations and departments. A set of other issues of mutual concern were also taken up. These meetings were attended by Qatar's Ambassador accredited to China HE Hamad Bin Mohamed Mubarak Al Khalifa. HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohamed Bin Saleh Al Sada flew into Beijing earlier Tuesday night on an official visit to China, leading a high profile delegation comprising senior officials from QP and Qatar Petroleum International (QPI), Qatargas Operating Company Ltd. (Qatargas), Hassad Food, Qatar Holing, Qatar Diar, Qatar Mining, Qatar Airways and Smeet. (QNA)
