Qatar Denounces Kidnapping of Algerian Consul

Doha, April 12 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has denounced and condemned the kidnapping of the Algerian Consul General and six other diplomats working with the Algerian Consulate in Gao City in Northern Mali as being contrary to morals and humanitarian principles. This was stated in a statement by an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Qatar News Agency (QNA) Thursday. The source called upon the parties in charge to urgently release the kidnapped. Concluding its statement, the source expressed its solidarity with the sisterly Democratic People's Republic of Algeria. (QNA)
