VP TO MEET MINANG TRADERS IN WEST SUMATRA
Padang, W Sumatra, Oct 10 (ANTARA) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla is scheduled to arrive here on Friday afternoon for a two-day working visit in West Sumatra for a friendship gathering with Minang traders.
The vice president and his entourage would depart Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma airport at 2 p.m. on Friday and arrive at Minangkabau International Airport here at 3:45 p.m. local time.
Following Kalla's presence in West Sumatra, Governor Gamawan Fauzi will host a banquet in honor of the visiting vice president on Friday evening.
At the banquet Industry Minister Fahmi Idris who is concurrently the chairman of the Minang Traders Friendship Forum Management Board would give his welcome address.
The vice president on Saturday would open 2008 Minang Trader Frienship gathering and 2008 Minang Trader Expo before leaving West Sumatra at 12:55 for Jakarta.
