Azerbaijani, French think tanks to sign cooperation agreement

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 11 / Trend E. Mehdiyev / The French Institute of International Relations and the Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President will sign an agreement on cooperation in Paris on April 12. Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Gulshan Pashayeva went to France to participate in the signing of the agreement, the center told Trend on Wednesday. The agreement envisages joint research in the field of energy security policy pursued by Azerbaijan and the European Union, the prospects for economic integration in the Southern Caucasus, peace and stability, settlement of armed conflicts in South Caucasus, as well as geopolitical interests in the region. Pashayeva will also participate in the conference "Azerbaijan's role in Europe's energy security strategy" to get acquainted with the work of her colleagues from the Center for Analysis and Forecasting of International Risk, Homid company, specializing in public relations, and the Institute of International Relations.
