FULL HOUSE FOR DR MAHATHIR'S SPEECH IN MELBOURNE

By Neville D'Cruz

MELBOURNE, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- Dr Mahathir Mohamad will face a capacity
audience when he speaks at a youth development seminar organised by the
Malaysian Youths in Melbourne (MyM) here on Saturday.

MyM president Mohd Izhar Moslim said there was an overwhelming response to
hear the former prime minister give his views when speaking on the topic, 'The
Challenges Facing Youths Today To Make The World Of Tomorrow'.

He said the Sydney Myer Asia Centre Hall at the University of Melbourne,
which has a seating capacity of 480, has been booked and we have nearly 200
people on the waiting list.

Other speakers are Jack Delosa, founder and managing director of Limitless
and Professor Danny Samson, director of the Foundation for Sustainable Economic
Development, University of Melbourne.

Izhar said the seminar's aim was to give young people an opportunity to
hear and discuss the views of national leaders and be inspired by them.

Last year, the seminar featured prominent Malaysian politicians Annuar Musa
and Khairy Jamaluddin.

MyM, a non-profit organisation, promotes national pride and harmony
among
Malaysian students through social and cultural activities.
