Cabinet General Secretariat Receives 874 Applications in Career Fair

Doha, April 09 (QNA) - The Cabinet General Secretariat announced Monday that its pavilion in the 5th edition of Qatar Career Fair has received 874 job applications from Qatari nationals, including 39 job applications for the Institute of Administrative Development, through the electronic registration system which was used during the fair to receive job applications. The General Secretariat noted that almost half of the applicants are currently working in ministries and in public and private sectors. The job applications have been already arranged and classified in preparation for submission to the personnel committee of the Secretariat, formed under the decision of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs No. (3) for 2012. The Committee will receive all job applications for the General Secretariat and the Institute of Administrative Development to study them and submit its recommendations thereon to the start of the recruitment process during this month in accordance with the principles and required standards. HE the Deputy Premier and Minister of State for the Cabinet Affairs had announced at the opening of the Career Fair that the General Secretariat presents 133 job opportunity for Qataris, including 20 jobs in the Institute of Administrative Development.
