Supreme Council of Health Participates in Gulf Conference

Doha, April 08 (QNA) - The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) participates in the 3rd Gulf Conference on Adolescents and Youth Health 2012 currently taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia under the slogan "promoting societal partnership for adolescents and youth health". The conference, due to finalize its proceedings next Tuesday, discusses several topics including the current situation and strategic contexts for adolescent and youth health as well as the roles of partners at governmental and private sectors, civil society institutions, and both international and regional organizations in this field. Participants also feature studies and experiments in the adolescents and youth health field and disease risk factors facing this age range. They will also present the most important life skills to empower adolescents and youth on their role in improving their health in addition to developing the skills and abilities for individuals providing them with services.
