Euronest PA next session’s date and action plan determined in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 4 / Trend, M.Aliyev / The date and action plan of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly's next session was determined at its session in Baku. According to the taken decision, the third session of the Euronest PA will be held in Brussels on May 28-29, 2013. Meetings of the Euronest standing committees should be held before the session. Later the action plan proposed for next year was discussed. MP Fuad Muradov briefed participants about the issues proposed for discussion at the Energy Committee. He said this year it is planned to hold a conference, which will discuss energy security issues. A meeting of the expert commission will be held in Brussels in September, he said. It was also stressed that the Ukrainian delegation has initiated holding debates on energy issues and underlined that it will give new ideas. The Euronest PA Social Affairs Committee proposed to hold a forum of the Euronest member countries' youth in the autumn. The second session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Euronest opened in Baku on Monday. Meetings of standing committees, the working group on Belarus, as well as the plenary session were held during the session. The EU delegation of 60 people, the national delegations of Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova and Armenia attended the meeting. Euronest PA includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
