Azerbaijanis killed in traffic accident in Kazakhstan named

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 4 / Trend, S. Agayeva / Four of the five people who died in a traffic accident in the North Kazakhstan region are citizens of Azerbaijan, while the fifth is a Kazakh who is Russian by birth, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zakir Hashimov told Trend on Wednesday. The Azerbaijani citizens who died have been named as: Eldeniz Guliyev, born in 1972, Hazi Musayev, born in 1973, Orkhan Hasanov, born in 1989 and his father Sohrab Hasanov, born in 1968. All four were born in Azerbaijan's Lankaran region and temporarily left to work in Kazakhstan in the construction sector, he said. The fifth victim is Kazakh citizen Dmitry Sarayev, born in 1942. The dead bodies of the Azerbaijanis will be delivered to Astana in the near future, and then repatriated to Baku after completing formalities, Hashimov said. According to the Kazakh Interior Ministry, the tragedy took place at 17:00 on Tuesday, April 3 on the highway in the Tayinshinsky district, near the village of Dragomirovka. A Volkswagen Golf car collided with a Sinatruk company truck, Kazakh media outlets reported earlier. At present, all the necessary investigations on the accident are underway.
