Newspaper: Turkey starts large-scale military exercises

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 3 / Trend, A.Taghiyeva / Turkish Armed Forces began large-scale military exercises "Anatolian Eagle" yesterday, the Milliyet newspaper reported. The exercises, which will last until April 13, involves the country's naval forces and NATO military base in Incirlik. Last year, "Anatolian Eagle" exercises were canceled because Israel, with which Turkey has strained relations, was supposed to participate in them. These exercises are a response to military exercises of Greece, Israel and the U.S. called "Noble Dina", conducted in the eastern Mediterranean on March 4-14.
