Yemen seeks UNPF's support for reconstructing health facilities

SANA'A, Oct. 08 (Saba)-Minister of Public Health and Population
Abdul-Karim Rase'a held meeting on Wednesday with Representative of
United Nation Population Fund in Yemen Hans Obdeijn.

Rase'a discussed with the UN official possible support of the UNPF
to his ministry's plans regarding reconstructing health facilities
in the war-torn Sa'ada governorate and requalifying them.

The meeting dealt with size of the UNPF contributions in enhancing
and improving cooperation between the fund and the ministry for
reducing mothers' mortality rates and training midwives for this
purpose.
