QOC Secretary General Meets Georgetown University's Board of Directors

Doha, March 28 (QNA) -HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) conferred here on Wednesday with Georgetown University s Board of Directors Paul Tagliabue and his accompanying delegation now visiting Doha. They discussed aspects of cooperation between the QOC and Georgetown University especially in the sports and youth areas. HE Sheikh saoud highlighted the key importance of fruitful cooperation between the two sides and highly appreciated the worldwide fame Georgetown university enjoys .Talks during the meeting also dealt with the master degree programme in sports management. For his part, Paul Tagliabue highly commended the tangible sports progress Qatar is now witnessing in the several domains with the sports progress in particular and which is represented in the well qualified capabilities in organising regional, continental and international sports activities in addition to Qatar's possession of the most advanced and modern sports facilities in the region the matter which makes it more capable of hosting the grand world sports events.(QNA)
