Yemen, ISESCO discuss joint cooperation

BAKU, Oct. 08 (Saba)- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific
Research Saleh Ba-Surah discussed on Wednesday with the general
director of the Islamic, Educational, Scientific and Cultural
Organization (ISESCO) in Baku aspects of cooperation between Yemen
and the organization in the field of higher education and scientific
research and means of reinforcing them.

The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 4th conference
of Higher Education Ministers in the Islamic World in the
Azerbaijani capital Baku, discussed mechanisms of making use of the
organization experience in higher education and role of the
organization in reinforcing cooperation between countries of the
Islamic countries.

On the other hand, the minister also met with his Azerbaijani
counterpart Mizre Mardanov aspects of bilateral cooperation between
the two countries in the field of higher education and means of
reinforcing and developing them.

They also discussed possibilities of signing a bilateral cooperation
agreement between the two countries in this regard to exchange
scholarships, academic and administrative expertise and create
cooperation between Yemeni and Azerbaijani universities.
