Yemen calls international community to double efforts of facing

VIENNA, Oct. 08 (Saba)- Yemen called on Wednesday
international community to double efforts to face organized crimes.

In its speech delivered by Deputy Minister of Interior Minister
Saleh al-Zawari in 4th round of combating crimes cross boarder,
Yemen affirmed its commitment with all international agreement to
fight such crimes.

Al-Zawari said that the Yemeni government agreed
recently on a set of laws that combat money laundering and terror
funding as well as terrorism.In the speech, he also reviewed efforts
of the Yemeni security bodies to combat planning crimes such as
drugs smuggling, saying that the bodies thwarted attempts of
smuggling around 20 tons of hashish during past months of this
year.
