Qatar Shine in Arab Shooting Championship

Kuwait, March 25 (QNA) - Qatar's shooting team kept their winning streak in the 10th Arab Shooting Championship in Kuwait, by winning three gold medals, two silver and three bronze on Saturday. Qatar's Mohammed Al-Sunaidi confidently won the gold medal in the men's rifle event (3 dimensions) as his teammate, Hamad Al-Mubarak clinched the silver medal of the same event, according to (Qatar Olympic Committee) official website. In the men's pistol 10 m, Qatar's Omasa Al-Saadi claimed the gold medal as his teammate; Mohammed Mazhar won the silver medal. On the same track of glory, Qatar's team clinched the third place in the men's 50 m (3 dimensions). Qatar's skeet team consists of Abdulaziz Al-Attiyiah, Hamad Al-Marri, Saeed Shareb claimed the gold medal in the men's skeet event, as Qatar's youth team seized the silver medal in the skeet event. In the women's competitions, Qatar's Amal Al-Rafae took the bronze medal in the ladies skeet event on Saturday. Around 16 Arab nations participate in the 10th Arab Shooting Championship which is organized by Kuwait Shooting Federation from March 19-26, 2012. (QNA)
