Rates for hot water and heating to increase in Tashkent from April 1

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, March 16 /Trend D.Azizov/ Rates for central heating and hot water supply for people and organizations in Tashkent increased by 15.5 percent from April 1, Production Association (PA) "Tashteploenergo" and State Enterprise Trust "Suvsoz" (water utility) said. In particular, the monthly rate for central heating will increase from the current 463.93 soum per square meter of floor space up to 535.95 soum. The tariff for domestic hot water in the presence of the counter will be 1717.47 soum per cubic meter (now - 1486.67 soum per cubic meter), in the absence of metering devices - 6707.12 soum per person per month against 5805.82 soum earlier. For residents of dormitories with shared shower tariff will be 4989.45 soum per person per month against the current 4318.96 soum. Fees for services of cold water for the public will be 95 soum per cubic meter in April, excluding VAT (currently 83 soum) for sewerage services - 52 soum per cubic meter ( currently - 47 soum). The last time the prices for cold, hot water and heating increased in October last year. Then, the average increase amounted to 6.3 percent.
