President encourages big powers to come to terms with Iran

Tehran, Oct 8, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday night encouraged the big powers to come to terms with Iran.

He said in his interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran
Broadcasting that the modern world is the era of communications and
interaction among the nations and that the big powers should yield to
the strategy of negotiations rather than bullying.

He said that the American people are willing to restore ties with Iran
and that the outgoing US Administration is under pressure in this
respect.

"Ground has been prepared to resume fair relations with the United
States," the president said in reference to his meeting with the
American academics during his visit to the United States.
