Georgia appoints new health, labor and social protection minister

Georgia, Tbilisi, March 15 / Trend / New health, labor and social protection minister has been appointed in Georgia. As Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri said at a special briefing today, Georgian Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein Zurab Chiaberashvili will assume this post from today. Earlier, he was chairman of the CEC, Tbilisi Mayor and Georgian representative to PACE. As Chiaberashvili said, he hopes to meet the government's expectations and do efficient work in his new post. 39-year-old Chiaberashvili graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Tbilisi State University and worked in the "Rezonansi" newspaper. Gilauri thanked former Health, Labor and Social Protection Minister Andria Urushadze for his efficient activity, especially in the construction of new hospitals. "During his time 75 new hospitals were constructed and this sector developed very quickly," he said.
