-TURKISH ATHLETE SETS TWO WORLD RECORDS IN BACKWARD RUNNING

ANKARA (A.A) - 07.10.2008 - Turkish track and field athlete Omer Aslan has set two world records in 200 and 400 meters backward running or retro running in the World Championship in Italy. 
"For years I have run forwards but I achieved success in running backwards. They called me 'Turkish Usain Bolt' back there in Italy," Aslan told the A.A.     
Aslan said that he had been training for two years and that he used to run marathon before retro running.
