Egypt intends to engage in export through Georgia

Georgia, Tbilisi, March 9 / Trend N.Kirtskhalia / Egypt intends to engage in exporting through Georgian territory, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, who is on a visit to Cairo, told journalists on Friday. During the visit, Vashadze met with his Egyptian counterpart, parliament's speaker and other government members. "We discussed several promising directions in the Georgian-Egyptian relations with the Economy and Foreign Trade Minister. First, it is the use of transit facilities in Georgia. Our Egyptian partners are determined to engage in several types of export, carried out through the territory of other countries, through Georgia," he said. The two sides also discussed prospects for deepening economic relations between the two countries, investment flow, implementation of infrastructure projects and creating joint ventures.
