Iconic fashion blogger to visit Seoul for fashion week

SEOUL, Oct. 7 (Yonhap) -- An iconic fashion critic famed in the fashion circuit for her authoritative blog is to visit Seoul to speak at a forum later this month, the forum's organizers said Tuesday.

Diane Pernet, a designer-turned-fashion journalist, will be a guest speaker at
the "Global Fashion Forum," to be held in Seoul on Oct. 20.
The forum will be held on the sidelines of the eight-day Seoul Fashion Week,
scheduled for Oct. 18-25.
Best known for her blog "A Shaded View on Fashion," one of the most influential
blogs in the industry, she has been focused on discovering young design talent,
emerging brands and trend setting events around the world.
In September this year she kicked off a mini film festival called "A Shaded View
on Fashion Film" at the Paris Fashion Week, highlighting the increasing
relationship between fashion and cinema.
