HH the Heir Apparent Patronizes Education Excellence Day Celebrations

Doha March 04, (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) patronizes the celebration of Education Excellence Day for the academic year 2010/2011on Monday, at the conference hall at the Qatar National Convention Center. During the ceremony, distinguished Qataris from the six categories of the award, including, Outstanding PhD Holders, the Outstanding University Graduate, Outstanding High School Graduates Outstanding School and Outstanding Teacher. The school that achieved the best results in the Comprehensive Educational Assessment will be announced too. HE Minister of Education and Higher Education, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Education Council Chairman of the Board of Trustees Award for Excellence Scientific Saad bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, approved the names of the winners for this year. On this occasion, HE the Minister said that the Education Excellence Day emphasizes keenness of the State on human development and also emphasizes on the values of science, knowledge and investment in Qatari people who represent the real wealth of the country. He expresses his wishes for the winners of more success and excellence in their scientific future life. (QNA)
