ISKANDAR INVESTMENT LAUNCHES PROJECT AT CITYSCAPE DUBAI

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- Iskandar Investment Bhd Monday launched Malaysia's largest urban development, Medini, at the GCC's annual property investment event, Cityscape Dubai.

In a statement here Monday, Iskandar said the project was expected to bring
in gross development value in excess of US$20 billion (US$1=RM3.45) over a
period of 15 to 20 years.

Managing director, Arlida Ariff, said the 920-hectare Medini, located in
the greenfield land in the heart of Nusajaya, would comprise mixed-use urban
development.

"Medini is Iskandar's first sizeable world-class offering to the
international property space.

"The development is undoubtedly strong in its strategic positioning,
government backing and supporting infrastrucutre and resources," she
said.
