Al-Rasas calls on parties to contribute actively in phase of

SANA'A, Oct. 06 (Saba)- Minister of Legal Affairs Rashad al-Rasas called on political parties and organizations as well as voters to
contribute actively in a process of reviewing voters' registration that will be started soon in a preparation for 2009 parliamentary
elections.

In his statement to Saba, al-Rasas said that the process of reviewing is a legal
stage for any elections in accordance with
the law of elections No. 13/2001.

He pointed out to the role of the civil society organizations and local and
international observation bodies in monitoring this phase.After this phase, any
attempt to doubt about credibility of the registration, it will be kind of
political hatred scheme, he said.
