Prince Abdulrahman congratulates Sharoorah Force on Eid

Sharoorah, October 06, SPA -- Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz,
Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, paid a
visit to the Force of Sharoorah to congratulate personnel of the
armed forces in the southern region on Eid Al-Fitr.

During the visit, he conveyed congratulations of the Custodian of the
two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Supreme Commander
of all armed forces, and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the
Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General,
to the personnel on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

Speaking to the audience extemporaneously, Prince Abdulrahman lauded
the performance of the Saudi armed forces personnel, including the
army, navy, air and air defense forces.

He reminded that the pillars of the rule of Saudi Arabia, since the
days of its founder late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, is
the religion of Islam, which, he said, will remain so until the Day
of Resurrection.
Then he graced a dinner party held by Sharoorah Task Force Command in
his honor to mark this occasion.

The party was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin
Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud
bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz; senior military commanders and civil
and military senior officials.

Prince Abdulrahman earlier left Jeddah for Sharoorah. He was seen off
by Major General Zaal Al-Balawi, Commander of the Western Region, and
a number of civil and military officials.

He arrived in Sharoorah accompanied by Prince Mohammed bin
Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin
Abdulaziz; and Prince Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz.

He was received by Major General Omer bin Hasan Babaeer, Commander of
the Southern Region, senior commanders and civil and military senior
officials.
