Defense Ministry: Strengthening Lebanese Armed Forces is strategic policy of Iran

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 26 / Trend T.Jafarov / Ensuring security and stability in Lebanon is part of regional security and strengthening the Lebanese Armed Forces is a strategic policy of Iran, Iran's Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said at a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Fayez Ghosn in Tehran, Fars news agency reported on Sunday. Mr Vahidi stressed the importance of the full support to protection of Lebanon against external threats and terrorism, and noted Lebanon should have a strong army to protect itself.
