Almost 15 billion USD for urban railway projects in big cities

Hanoi (VNA) - The Prime Minister has approved a total amount of nearly 15 billion USD for projects to build urban railways in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by 2020.

The construction of high railways, metros, national and urban railways in Hanoi will get 7.345 billion USD with 5.542 billion USD souring from overseas and 1.803 billion USD from domestic funds.

For projects in Ho Chi Minh City , as much as 6.3 billion USD will come
from foreign and 1.2 billion USD from domestic funds.-Enditem
