JUBILEE OF POPULAR AZERBAIJANI PIANIST CHINGIZ SADIKHOV MARKED IN TORONTO
Baku, 06 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)A concert on the 60th jubilee of popular Azerbaijani pianist Chingiz Sadikhov took place in Markham theater, in Toronto, on Sunday, Embassy of Azerbaijan to Canada told AzerTAj.
Representatives of Toronto`s various ethnic societies delivered welcome speech.
Deputy of the Parliament Reza Moridy took a floor on behalf of government of
Ontario. Charge d'affaires of Azerbaijan Embassy to Canada F.Shafiyev underlined
that Chingiz Sadikhov made an enormous contribution to development of Azerbaijani
musical art abroad, including in the North America.
Dancing ensemble “Tebriz”, mugham trio “Karabakh” and other masters of Azerbaijani
music from Canada and USA performed at the concert organized by Azerbaijani musician
and signer Yusif Savalan.
