Latvia to represent Georgia's interests at EU

Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb.14/ Trend N.Kirtskhalia / Latvia will represent Georgia in the European Union on the path of integration into the EU and NATO, the leader of the Latvian Parliament Solvita Aboltina told journalists after a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri in Tbilisi. Speaker of the Latvian Saeima arrived in Georgia on a two-day visit on Monday. She has already met with the chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze and foreign minister Grigol Vashadze. "At these meetings the Latvian side was given details about the progress being made to achieve integration into the EU and NATO. We are ready to represent Georgia's interests before the leaders of the European Union," Ms Aboltina said after the meeting with Mr Gilauri. Do you have any feedback?
