Armed criminal takes three hostages in state institution building in Iran

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.13 / Trend T.Jafarov / An armed criminal took three hostages in one of the state buildings in the Ilam Province of Iran, ISNA news agency reported on Monday. According to local police, the incident took place at 10:00 local time on Feb.12. The criminal later said that he did it to avenge one of the employees who worked at the building. A special mission unit arrived at the scene and after a five-hour negotiation, the hostages were released and the armed criminal surrendered.
