Libya news agency's head says Anadolu Agency to be their voice in Europe and Asia

TRIPOLI (A.A) - February 13, 2012 - Libya news agency's head Bashir Zabiya has said that Anadolu Agency (AA) would be their voice in Europe and Asia. Speaking to AA on Monday, Zabiya said that AA gave priority to the interests of Libyan people during the civil war, and issued the most correct and objective news. Noting that the media relations between Turkey and Libya would be stronger in the coming period, Zabiya said that they would like to benefit from experiences of AA and make cooperation. Zabiya said that Libyan news agency had been releasing news stories since 1964, adding that it had more than 300 personnel across Libya and several regions in the world. Media, which had been under pressure during Gadhafi rule, will prepare more free and objective news, he said.
