TATAR CULTURE DAYS START IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 05 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)A ceremony to launch the Days of Tatar Culture in Azerbaijan was held Saturday at the State Musical Comedy Theatre in Baku.
Opening the event, Azerbaijan Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev
expressed confidence the Days will contribute to further strengthening cultural
relations between the two countries.
Tatar Minister of Culture Zilya Valeyeva said the holding of the Days points to the
dynamic in overall relations between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan.
During the ceremony, the Tatar Minister presented her Azeri counterpart with an
honorary diploma for his contributions to developing Tatar-Azeri cultural ties.
