Kingdom observes World Teacher Day

Riyadh, October 04, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joins the
world's countries in observing the World Teacher Day which falls on
the fifth day of October of every year.

The Kingdom's observance of the day underlines its appreciation of
the teacher's role in education.

In statements on this occasion, Deputy Minister of Education for
Girls' Education Prince Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah bin Moqrin Almshari
Al Saud, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for School
Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Almiqbil, highlighted the importance
of the teachers' role in education and support for them.
