RAILWAY COMPANY INSTRUCTED NOT TO NEGLECT ECONOMY-CLASS PASSENGERS
Yogyakarta, Oct 4 (ANTARA) - Transportation Minister Jusman Syafii Djamal instructed the management of state owned railway company Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) not neglect economy-class passengers during this year's Idul Fitri homecoming season.
"All passengers should be transportable. If necessary, put more locomotives or carriages in service to accomodate the increased number of passengers," said the minister here Saturday after inspecting conditions at Yogyakarta's Tugu railway station.
The minister had also inspected public transportation facilities in Kutoarjo and Wonogiri. ***7***
