UK ELECTORAL COMMISSION CHAIRMAN VISITS “SECHKILER” INFORMATION CENTER IN BAKU
Baku, 04 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)As part of his Baku trip, Chairman of the UK Electoral Commission Sam Younger visited Friday “Sechkiler” (Elections) Information Center under the Azerbaijan Central Election Commission.
Director of the Center Ramil Huseynov informed Sam Younger that 125 constituencies
and more than 5 000 territorial election commissions operate in Azerbaijan. He said
all territorial election commissions had been provided with computers.
Mr. Huseynov also underscored favorable conditions had been created in the Center
for election observers.
Sam Younger praised the Center`s activity saying it provides every opportunity to
conduct free, transparent and democratic elections in the country.
