25 Airport Security Officers Complete Course to Boost Job Skills

Doha, February 04 (QNA) - Twenty five officers from Airport Security Department have successfully completed a course on detecting forged travel documents organized by the Police Training Institute (PTI) in association with the British International Academy. This was the fifth course, held from January 22 to February 2, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Saturday in a media statement. The course aimed at boosting the trainees knowledge on travel documents, methods and means of detecting forged documents, develop skills and how to take legal action on forgers. The participants received the latest information on the developments in passports and travel documents, the principles of basic security and the development of standard methods for examining documents, printing methods used in travel documents, passports of uniform standards as well as detecting replacements of images, digital photos, visas and stamps.
