Qatar to Meet Japan in Asian Handball Championship Semi-Finals Tomorrow

Jeddah, February 02 (QNA) - Qatar's handball team will meet here tomorrow its Japanese counterpart in the semi-finals of the 15th Asian Handball Championship. The match will be preceded by a match between Saudi Arabia and South Korea. In the light of the two matches results the two teams that will qualify for the World Men's Handball Championship, slated for Spain next year, will be determined. The losers will play a match that will determine the team which will win the third position and qualify for the world handball cup finals. The Qatari team hopes to win over Japan to have access to the Championship's final match and subsequently qualify for the World Men's Handball Championship's finals. (QNA)
