HE Qatar's Advisory Council Speaker Discusses Boosting Qatar's Relations with A Number of OIC Countries

Palembang, Indonesia , January 30 (QNA) - HE Speaker of Qatar's Advisory Council Mohamad bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi conferred here on Monday with Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Marzuki Alie . During the meeting held on the sidelines of the 7th conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (PUOIC) dealt with means of bolstering parliamentary relations between the two countries. HE Al-Khulaifi conveyed deep thanks and appreciation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Marzuki Alie for the warm welcome and hospitality and the accurate and well preparedness and organisation of the said conference. Later HE Speaker of Qatar's Advisory Council Mohamad bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi met with each of Sri Lankan Justice Minister Rauf Hakim , Speaker of the Albanian Parliament Josefina Topalli and Speaker of the Iranian Shoura Council Dr, Ali Larijani. Talks during these meetings dealt with parliamentary relations between Qatar and the three countries and means of bolstering them. HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohamad bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi and his accompanying delegation left Doha earlier Sunday for Jakarta to take part in the 7th Session of the Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States (PUIC) Conference, which kicked off in the Indonesian City of Palembang on Monday and runs for two days.(QNA)
