Qatar, Arab League Sign MoU on Lending Postage Stamp Collection

Cairo, January 26 (QNA) - The Arab League (AL) and Qatar Post are scheduled to sign on 29 January a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to lend the collection of the Arab Philatelic Museum, owned by the AL to the State of Qatar for an exhibition next autumn, the league said in a press release on Thursday. Qatar will expose the collection at the exhibition scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the 25th Universal Postal Congress due in Doha on September 2012, it said. Postage stamps are telling the story of a Nation, said the statement, adding that signing of such a document is another opportunity for the Arab League to enhance its cultural mission. (QNA)
