Savannakhet upgrades tourism guides
(KPL) Savannakhet Tourism Service is holding a training course to upgrade tour guides to welcome larger number
of tourists for the province.
The trainees learned the tourism potentials of the province such as bio-diversity, cultural identity of ethnic people, the histories of tourist sites, the hospitality of tour guides and officials in tourism sector and regulations and policies on tourism.
This training was held with the finance support from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The event was chaired by Mrs. Bounmy Khantivong, Head of Tourism Service of Savannakhet.
