Yemen to present paper on refugees issues in Geneva
SANA'A, Oct. 02 (Saba) - Yemen is to present in the 59th session of
UNHCR program a paper on Yemen's views to solve issues of Somali
refugees in the country estimated to be over 700,000.
The session's activities to be held on October 6 - 10 in Geneva,
Switzerland, will discuss refugees' situation in the world and how
to protect them, the Deputy Foreign Minister and Chairman of
National Committee for Refugees Affairs Ali Muthana Hassan has told
Saba.
The paper said that the Somali refugees fled from the internal fight
that also caused piracy acts that have been increased nowadays,
Hassan said, adding that the only way to resolve this issue is to
put an end to this war.
